Please visit the U.S. Department of State's Passport website for information on applying for a passport.

As a Passport Acceptance Facility, we will accept your completed application for a new passport and forward it to the Passport Services section of the U.S. Department of State for an issuance determination. Application fee payable to the U.S. Department of State by personal check, money order or bank draft. Execution and photo fees payable to BCROD, cash or check. We do NOT accept credit or debit cards.

NOTE: Citizens who were born in Brunswick County and applying for a passport are required to submit either a birth certificate issued by Vital Records in Raleigh OR a Brunswick County birth certificate issued on or after May 1, 2009.

Attention: New requirements for all birth certificates beginning April 1, 2011 require parent(s) full name to be on all certified birth certificates.

Monday through Friday (except holidays)
8:30am - 4:00pm
We also offer on-site photos ($7.00 for 2 copies).
